15.03.2021: 0.4 percent in our constituencies in the state election in Baden-Württemberg

The Party for Health Research received 0.4 percent of the votes in the two constituencies in which it took part in the state election in Baden-Württemberg. Many thanks to our voters! And many thanks to everyone who helped with the election campaign! Our result in the state election is a clear improvement over our performance in the 2019 European election, in which we achieved 0.1 percent of the votes in Baden-Württemberg. Since the Party for Health Research and our demand are still very little known, there is a lot of potential to receive considerably more votes in future elections.

14.01.2021: Nominations submitted for the state election in Baden-Württemberg

We have submitted our nominations for the constituencies of Stuttgart IV and Ulm completely and on time, i.e. including a sufficient number of supporting signatures. This makes the participation of the Party for Health Research in the state election in Baden-Württemberg on March 14, 2021 in these two constituencies fairly certain. The final decision on the admissions will be made by the electoral committees at their meetings on January 19, 2021.
For three further constituencies we had collected supporting signatures, but unfortunately did not manage to gather the required number on time. This was due to the coronavirus situation, which makes collecting very difficult.
Many thanks to everyone who gave us their supporting signature, and many thanks to everyone who helped collect them!

"The petition calls for an immediate amendment of the Federal Electoral Act so that, in view of the current coronavirus situation, the collection of supporting signatures that is currently required of non-established parties for admission to the 2021 federal election does not endanger the health of hundreds of thousands of people."

The Party for Health Research received 7,792 votes in the Hamburg state election, which corresponds to a 0.2% share of the second votes. Many thanks to our voters! 24.12.2019: Election program for Hamburg adopted: an additional 5% of the state budget for research against age-related diseases

At our state party convention in Hamburg on December 23, 2019, we adopted our election program for the Hamburg state election on February 23, 2020.

We demand that an additional 5% of the state budget be invested in the development of effective medicine against age-related diseases. Since all people are directly or indirectly affected by age-related diseases, all people would also benefit from this. Half of these additional investments is to go into the construction and operation of new public research facilities. The other half is to be used to train more people in the relevant fields and to expand the corresponding departments at universities.

In our view, for ethical and economic reasons it is very important to considerably accelerate the development of effective medicine against age-related diseases through substantially more public investment.
