Doesn't aging also have its good sides?

This is a misunderstanding that arises from confusing chronological and biological aging. Defeating biological aging does not mean wiping out the positive sides of growing older.

Chronological aging brings life experience, wisdom and new skills. Nobody - ourselves included - wants to undo these gains. In fact, untreated biological aging is the greatest threat to them. It limits our opportunities to gain new experiences, and diseases such as Alzheimer's actively destroy our intellect, our memories and our ability to stay connected with our loved ones. Our goal is the ultimate human jackpot: the combination of youthful vitality and the experience of an entire lifetime.
